Is there anything better that iced cold coffee on a hot sunny day?

This is one of the easiest ways to enjoy cold brew coffee at home; simply fill in the filter cone with your favourite coffee, add room temperature spring water into the pot and stir the top grounds to let the coffee soak into the water fully. Once the coffee grounds are wet, store the cold brew pot in the refrigerator and leave it for at least 8 hours - but we recommend up to 24 hours. Then simply, take the mesh filter out, drain it and serve.

BREW RECIPE:

We recommend using coffees that have fruity characteristics as they tend to convey fresher flavours as a chilled black coffee and will have lower acidity compared to when they are brewed as a hot filter coffee. We use the SWEETSHOP espresso blend from Squaremile in the cafe and it always tasted incredible!

  • Place 50G very coarsely ground coffee beans into the mesh filter insert

  • Add 1000ML filtered spring water and stir to soak all the coffee grounds

  • Place in a fridge for about 24 hours and then remove the mesh insert

  • This recipe uses a lower dose of coffee compared to other cold brew recipes - so you’ll need to brew for longer - but you’ll also be more efficient with your coffee

  • Serve over ice - no need to dilute.
